For Today... Feb 11th, 2019

The weather...Its 22° and the high for the day of 32° today... today will be the best day of the week

As I look outside my window...its still dark... a fresh covering of snow fell yesterday afternoon

On my bedside table... my alarm clock, Kindle, iPad and a journal

On my reading pile... The Photo Album by Marlene Chase ...its taking me a long time to read this, just can't get into it, but I am determined to finish it.

Movies or Shows I watched this weekend... Black Dog - another weekend of the hubs picking out movies on ONDEMAND

On my TV... Bachelor, Chicago Series : Med, Fire, PD, Resident, 911, Blue Bloods, New Amsterdam

On the menu for this week... Menu for the week:
Monday ~ pork chops, mashed potatoes, corn and applesauce
Tuesday ~ burgers, fries and peaches
Wednesday ~ breakfast - pancakes and sausage
Thursday ~ pizza - homemade, and will try and shape it into a heart
Friday ~ nacho deluxe
Saturday ~ not sure yet
Sunday ~ church potluck

In the craft basket...working on a temperature afghan, got the sixth week completed; I started another granny ripple afghan using Caron Cakes in the Lilac Frosting colorway

Happening this week:
Monday ~ work, work out
Tuesday ~ work, work on Bible Study, work out
Wednesday ~ work, work on Bible Study
Thursday ~ work in craft room, work on Bible Study, clean house...Valentine's Day
Friday ~ groceries, errands, work out
Saturday ~ no plans as of yet
Sunday ~ church, potluck

Looking around the house... I have a lot to clean. I have a bum shoulder again and can't do much of anything right now. I am hoping the doc will call in some meds to help with the somewhat frozen shoulder, this happened back in Nov as well, so I know just what it is... but still unsure as to why it keeps happening.

From the camera... My planner layout for the week. I finished my Blanket Cardigan... I love it! Its so warm and cozy!! And a few pics of the ice we had last week.. on my tree out the side door (this was Tuesday, Wednesday it was alot worse.....

What I'm wearing today... pink shirt, blue floral leggings and a grey long jacket/sweater

One of my simple pleasures... listening to my guy play the guitar at church... this little clip is from just the guys doing a little jam praise for the offertory

A favorite Bible verse, devotion or quote for today...

On my prayer list... for me - this shoulder pain is unbearable

In closing...Thank you for stopping by. I hope your week ahead is filled with lots of blessings!

  1. I LOVE your inspiration - absolutely perfect. I also love the afghans, especially the gray one. I hope your net storm isn't as bad as the ones before it. Seems like they sometimes get worse the closer we get to spring. Have a wonderful week.

  3. I always enjoy your posts, Jodi! The afghans are BEAUTIFUL! I just ordered the yarn to start my own. The last of it should be in today or tomorrow. I've only got two rows done, so far, but as soon as the color I'm waiting on arrives I can to crackin' on it. I'm so excited! Thanks to you and my youngest daughter, Amanda, for being such an inspiration! Have a great week ahead! Blessings! <3
