My husband and I went and saw this on the big screen a few months ago and loved the movie. Such a powerful movie, and still blows me away as to how quiet everyone was once the movie ended and was walking out. The sacrifices these men and women make sometimes is heartbreaking! I now look at these war movies in a different light, with my son now in the military.

From director Clint Eastwood comes “American Sniper,” starring Bradley Cooper as Chris Kyle, whose skills as a sniper made him a hero on the battlefield.

But there was much more to him than his skill as a sharpshooter.

Navy SEAL Chris Kyle is sent to Iraq with only one mission: to protect his brothers-in-arms. His pinpoint accuracy saves countless lives on the battlefield, and as stories of his courageous exploits spread, he earns the nickname “Legend.” However, his reputation is also growing behind enemy lines, putting a price on his head and making him a prime target of insurgents. He is also facing a different kind of battle on the home front: striving to be a good husband and father from halfway around the world.

Despite the danger, as well as the toll on his family at home, Chris serves through four harrowing tours of duty in Iraq, personifying the spirit of the SEAL creed to “leave no one behind.” But upon returning to his wife, Taya (Sienna Miller), and kids, Chris finds that it is the war he can’t leave behind.

  1. My father, uncle and grandfather were all in the military. Thanks for the giveaway. I hope that I win.

  2. My husband was in the military. My brother is currently in and we have numerous relatives who have served.

  3. My best friend is in the military. Thanks for the opportunity! I've been dying to see this movie!

  4. We actually haven't had anyone in the military in my family for a very long time. The last person was my Grandpa, who was in World War II and he was a cook for the soldiers. He made the most incredible chicken noodle soup ever. He passed away just before I turned 15. I miss having him make it for us!

  5. This was a wonderful movie! I am thankful my son-in-law did not re-enlist...he has suffered enough for his years of service with the last tour nearly ending his life.

  6. My husband is a veteran and he really wants this movie!
