Tasty Tuesday ~ Ham Mac n Cheese
1 16 oz macaroni
1 clove garlic
2 cans (10 3/4 oz each) condensed cheddar cheese soup
1 pk (8 oz) velveeta shreds (I couldn't find any, so used the brick)
8 oz cooked ham, cubed
60 cheese crackers (cheez its), crushed
1 tsp oil
1 1/2 c water
1/8 tsp pepper
Preheat oven to 375. Coat shallow 3 qt baking dish with cooking spray.
In large pot of boiling water, cook pasta 1 minute less than directed on package; drain and return to pot.
In a medium pot, combine garlic and oil, cook over a med-low heat for one minute. Add the soup, water and pepper, bring to a boil, slowly stir in the Velveeta until melted; stir in ham.
Mix the cheese with the pasta, stir until completely coated.
Transfer to baking dish, sprinkle with the crushed crackers.
Bake 18-20 minutes, or until lightly browned and bubbly. Cool 10 minutes before serving.
