Sunday Stealing

Sizzle Says

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. We also provide a link to the victim's meme in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from this new meme or recently asked questions from a previously featured meme.
Cheers to all of us thieves!!!

The Sizzle Says Meme

Stolen from: Ms. Sizzle

1. If money were no object, what would you be doing with your life? living someplace in the tropics running a resort

2. Money is just that - an object, so why aren’t you doing it? because I don't have a lot of that "object"!

3. What’s better: horses or cows? horses

4. What do you think the secret to happiness is? love

5. When was the last time you had a dream that you either remember well or did not want to awake from? Can you share a bit? after my dad's funeral, he came to me in a dream the next day saying, "I'm sorry, forgive me, my eyes are open now."

6. When you were a little kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a teacher

7. Complete this statement: Love is… 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

One of my favorite scriptures!

8. Can you tell a good story? eh, not really

9. Can you remember your last daydream? What was it about? no

10. If you were to thank someone today, who would you thank? my husband, for all he does for me

11. If you could be anyone's mojo, whose would you want to be, and why? (For those you do not know what mojo is, it's personal magnetism; charm.) I have no clue

  1. "living in the tropics" sounds like fun, but "running a resort" sounds too much like work! LOL

  3. OH, I love that Corinthians verse. It used to be part of every wedding I attended. (Maybe it still is a staple of vows ... I just don't attend that many weddings anymore.)

  5. I never thought about actually owning/running the resort in my daydreams of the beach, but that would mean I'd get to be there ALL the time....time to change the dream! LOL

    Absolutely perfect answer to #7.

  6. That beautiful scripture is the perfect answer to what love is. There is a copy of it in our home and in the RV.
